Torbjörn Tännsjö is professor of practical philosophy at Gothenburg University. He is one of few Scandinavian philosophers frequently heard in the public debate. His support to active euthanasia, selective abortion and the usage of gene theraphy have probably been seen by many.
Torbjörn is a distinctly utilitarian, which made him a very controversial among some establishments in Sweden.
